This chest was commissioned by our client to serve as both storage and a hallway bench for putting on shoes. Our inspiration was clean, mid century lines. We chose to contrast the angular shape with a curved groove to serve as a handle.

The joinery is simple and elegant with dowels and a rebated joint holding the piece together.
