Payak Set (Standing Desk and Refectory Stools)
2022. White oak.
This standing desk and stools set was commissioned as a follow up to the original refectory stools we made. Our client wanted a conference and work table that could be a centrepiece in his office and stand up to a busy working environment. This table allows the users to be either seated at the stools or work from a standing position.
The table is joined with mortice and tenons and the top is gently rounded for a simple but elegant look.
Payak is Tagalog for simple or basic.
